Shirley Ann Crosby left this world and entered into eternity November 30, 2021, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 18 days in Oklahoma City, OK. Shirley was born April 12, 1943, to her parents Raymond and Ima Jean (Luman) Hutton in Erick, OK.
Shirley and her family were the salt of the earth Erick, OK, farmers. She kept her family well fed during their wheat harvesting days. Shirley was a true caretaker, with the family taken care of and truly loved dearly. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles and crocheting. She will be greatly missed.
Although Shirley is no longer with us, her memory and legacy will be kept alive through the family and friends she leaves behind which include her: 1 daughter: Carla and husband Terry Dickey of Butler, OK; 2 sons: Charles McDaniel and Lloyd Crosby both of Elk City, OK; 3 sisters: Billie Jean Plaster, LaQuita Carthel, Darlene Odom; 5 grandchildren: David and wife Stephanie, TJ and wife Sadie Potter, Sarah Crosby, Kelly and wife Terra Dickey, Marty Blake; 12 great grandchildren: Jace, Macie, Abbie, Rubie, Dax, Bodhi, Garrett, Tyler, Jordyn, Jaylee, Briyana and Jonah; 2 special angels: Teresa Robinson and LB Ball along with a host of other relatives, longtime friends and neighbors.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Preston Leon Crosby; 1 brother: Odell Hutton; 1 sister: Barbara Davis; 1 grandson: Kevin Dickey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Erick First Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Kleckner officiating. Interment will follow at Mayfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, December 3, 2021, at Rose Chapel, Sayre from 11:00 AM ~ 8:00 PM.
