We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Whinery Funeral Service
Robert O. Cloe (Bob), 77, of Elk City OK, departed this life on May 16, 2022 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Bob was born in Colby, KS to Bertha Irene Cloe and Delbert O. Cloe on May 9, 1945. He attended Atwood High School and Goodland Vo-Tech. Over the years Bob was self-employed as a plumber and electrician at Cloe’s Plumbing and Electric. He then relocated to Manhattan, KS where he retired in May of 2019 from USD 383.
Bob was married to his wife of 46 years, Sheri Cloe, to which they raised 4 children. Sundae Jan Eyer, Kenny Fishburn, Mandi Solko and Courtney Faylor. His wife, children and grandchildren were his greatest accomplishments and the loves of his life. Nothing made him prouder then watching them grow up, succeed, get married and live their lives. Bob had 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; Cameron Solko, Braden Solko, Chase Krien, Kensley Krien, Madison Faylor, Taran Faylor, Preston Fishburn, Parker Fishburn, Connor Fishburn and Shae Eyer.
Bob was the hardest working man we all knew and anyone he met enjoyed his humor and respected his work ethic. He loved to hunt, fish, spend time with family and watch anything KU related “ROCK CHALK”.
The family gathered in Elk City to celebrate the life and memories we all shared. He is a loving husband, father and grandpa and we will miss him dearly. We take comfort that he has no more pain and is at peace. After his cremation he will be laid to rest in McDonald, KS at a later date. THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE & MEMORIES, THEY WILL BE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.
Condolences can be sent to: Sheri Cloe, 109 Hosanna Ave, Elk City, OK 73644
