Marilyn leaves behind a loving daughter, Kristy Dye, one brother, Curtis Albert, a family of many close cousins, as well as her blessed second family, Lanee, Halle, Drake, & Liam Shockey, and a large community of amazing friends that were very close to her heart.
Marilyn grew up in Elk City to her parents, Eugene and Lottie Albert (deceased). Marilyn moved to Kansas City in 1990 and lived there for ten years before returning to her hometown of Elk City where she was active in the community contributing to many causes, often anonymously. If you were lucky enough to have met her, please know she considered you a friend.
A memorial service will be held at the 2nd & Adams Church of Christ in Elk City, Oklahoma on Saturday December 4, at 10:30 am.
The family would especially like to thank the amazing and devoted nurses at Seiling Municipal Hospital, whom Marilyn was so very close to.
