Life Legacy
Ross Platt was born July 17, 1920 in Borger, Texas to Minnie Manning and John Platt. He passed away March 4, 2010 at Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 7 months and 17 days.
Ross grew up in Oklahoma City where he met Francis Williams and they were later married at Love County, OK. He served his country during World War II and after his discharge, he returned to Oklahoma City. They remained there until 1972 when they moved to Elk City to make their home. He operated his own business, Platt Exterminators until his retirement. Ross loved the Lord and was very active in his church until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 1 child, Brenda Lee Platt, 3 grandchildren, Amy, Amber and Levi, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
Survived by his 6 daughters; Norma Blackmon and husband,J.C., Elk City, OK, Barbara McLemore and husband, and Robert Darrell, Elk City, OK., Connie Turner and husband, and Charles, Burns Flat, OK., Mary Ann Dunlap and husband Troy, Sr., Burns Flat, OK., Cindy Gatlin and husband, Billy, Burns Flat, OK., Theresa Reyes and husband, Bradford, Minot, ND; 1 son, Raymond Ross Platt and wife, and Charlotte, Ft. Cobb, OK; 22 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, the caring staff at Grace, Living Center in Clinton, OK. and a host of other relatives and friends,
