Biography

Ronnie Peffer was born February 1, 1947 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Lucy Julia and John Joseph Peffer. He passed away February 3, 2010 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years and 2 days.

Ronnie grew up on the family farm north of Elk City. He attended Merritt schools graduating in 1965. After graduation he remained in the Elk City area where he helped take care of the family farm. In the early 80's Ronnie moved to Yukon for a brief period before returning to Elk City to make his home. Ronnie enjoyed welding and made a lifelong career of it. He also enjoyed watching western movies, tending his cattle and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Rhonda Peffer and 3 brothers.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Shanda Poole and husband, Roger, Elk City, OK, Kristi Armstrong and husband, Shane, Elk City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Mathew Poole, T.J. Armstrong, Samantha Armstrong, Erin Poole, Barrett Poole, 6 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Shirley Souza, Tiverton, RI; sister-in-law, Karen Peffer, Mustang, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.
